Matt just had a floor to ceiling bookshelf built in his den and for the hundreds of free books from the library's discard sale. As he's filling his shelves with the books, he notices one of the books seems heavier than it should so he looks inside to find a hollowed out center with a nickel-plated revolver inside. He turns the book and the gun over to Lieutenant Cole, who matches it through ballistics to a fourteen-year-old robbery/homicide. Matt gets curious about the gun's original owner and does some digging on his own.

Read all the multi-packs and shorts packs long ago, since 2012. The author has gotten better with age/practice. I've read almost all of the Cooper stories (1 - 230) and several of Mr. Bernico's short stories and most have not disappointed me. You'll find some poorly written or predictable stories, but for the most part they are fair to good. The Cooper series are better, but there's a few stinkers, too. They're great for a coffee break or a few minutes to relax.Product details

ok easy bedtime reading
What I like about this book was when Matt brought some old books from a book sale. Then when he was going threw the books he found out that one was hollow out after he open it and found a gun in it. So he decided to turn that book and gun over to his best friend Lieutenant Cole. I would recommend this to anyone whom love mystery stories. My rating was five stars because I just love reading the Copper short story.
